Adria Science portal enables meteorologist to run meteorological numerical models (simulations) on different distributed computing infrastructures. The portal is a suite of tools that enable easy execution of the specific meteorological application workflows on the Croatian national computing resources, CRO-NGI grid infrastructure and HPC cluster Isabella.
The portal is developed within the framework of the SCI-BUS project by the Centre for Informatics and Computing (CIR) at Ruđer Bošković Institute and is based on the generic-purpose gUSE/WS-PGRADE portal family. The aim of the portal is to provide an uniform access to and easy execution of the meteorological applications on different national computing infrastructures. The ultimate goal is to increase the usability of the available national computing resources by solving specific meteorological problems mostly connected to the Adriatic region (e.g. fast and accurate waterspout, tidal waves and storm predictions).
Registered users and application developers can access Adria Science portal via ordinary web browsers (recommended Firefox, Opera, Chrome) on the web address http://adria-sci.irb.hr:8080/liferay-portal-6.1.0/.
